TRAININGS AND WORKSHOPS

Organizational Culture Consultancy

As many employees, as many challenges.

Whatever company we are talking about, change is not only inevitable, but also desirable.

How do employees cope with the changes that occur or are expected?

What skills do they have or need to develop to adapt easier?

How do you ensure that employees improve their skills and acquire new ones that are absolutely necessary for performance?

How do you make sure employees know what’s important to the company in what they do?

These questions arise especially when the company is on the verge of changes and/or integrates new employees.

HOW DO I WORK?

With a concept that belongs to me: reframing by playing.

  • Step one: together with the employer and the employees, I identify concrete situations at risk of developing tense situations, conflicts, or that have already degenerated. I create a ”mirror”: the real situation is transformed into a game with all the rules of a game. The search solutions process becomes relaxing and much more effective.
  • Step two: I identify the different types of soft skills that need “intervention” according to the conclusions we have at the end of the game.
  • Step three: I use the Reframing by Playing principle to underline different and sometimes surprising perspectives on any situation.

What are soft skills?

Soft skills are sometimes innate, sometimes acquired through self-education. They mainly relate to our ways of communication and interaction, to our character, emotional intelligence, sociability, adaptability. It is the interpersonal qualities that we possess. For example, good communication skills can often make up for weak technical skills at the time of an interview.

Soft skills help us to cope with the environment, work efficiently and also help to achieve organizational goals. They add value to the organization and are an essential part of the hiring process. Technical skills are often important for career success. But it is absolutely necessary to clothe them in communication skills, in our emotional intelligence, in ethics, in understanding and compassion, the essential parts that create uniqueness in an individual’s identity.

A very brief research applied to all the employees I have worked with in the last 5 years has the following results:

Is it important for you to have a job in a company that offers soft skills training programs?

Yes – 87%

Are you willing to put in hours outside of work schedule for soft skills training programs?

Yes – 80%

Do you think your company offers you enough hours of soft skills training?

Yes – 10%

87, 80…..10. Make the difference and get a good trainer.

ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH

Some of the long-lasting effects of soft skills training that I have seen in the companies I work with (an analysis of the last 5 years):

Increased productivity

The development of communication skills most often led to more attentive listening and consequently to the formulation of more detailed questions, which was of great help in completing work tasks more efficiently and quickly.

Increased retention rate

Employees who have developed soft skills are less inclined to leave their jobs because they become more confident that they can handle the stressful situations.

Transforming competition into collaboration

At work you are surrounded by people who act towards and pursue the same goal. What a gift! These are the best people to work with and learn from. Competition is between companies, not between the people of the same company.

Improving the image in the market

An organization that prioritizes employee development sets a benchmark that attracts top talent. According to various surveys, job seekers consider employee training and development to be a major benefit.
